My story

     Many of you already know me. Not personally, but emotionally we are connected.  There are thousands of us out there....hoping for something, anything to allow us to break our silence....to not have to live in fear or be afraid for our childrens safety.  I was a victim of Domestic Violence for over 15 years, but I got out alive and am in a happier place now.  I wanted to start this blog so that women have a safe place to share what is happening to them...what they can't face  or emotionally deal with any longer.  I still have flashbacks and they stay with me for a long time.  Yet I finally feel safe.  My story may be a little unique to some, but trust me...this could happen to you, too.  I am not posting for pity or recognition...I am posting cuz I know how many others there are out there.  Some may not even realize they are being abused.  I want to help any way I can.  Until soon!!
